Abstract

Economic-theoretical thought in the Russian public consciousness, figuratively speaking, flows in two streams: a powerful, high-water river of apologetics, scientifically justifying the current economic policy, and a thin stream of genuinely scientific knowledge diligently trampled by the beneficiaries of this policy reclining upon the river. A quarter of a century, excluding the short period of work of the fourth post-Soviet government (Primakov’s government), Russian economic policy is being run on the Washington Consensus principles, imposed by the IMF, in spite of the independent science representatives position.

INNOVATIVE SPHERE: SYSTEM-WIDE AND BRANCH ASPECTS, STRATEGIC REFERENCE POINTS OF MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The main conceptual approaches to management of the innovative sphere are characterized: technical and economic; administrative; institutional and legal. The key methodical provisions and recommendations about strategic planning of innovative development of the mineral and raw complex (MRC) assuming close interaction of oil and gas, mining and metallurgical, prospecting sectors in questions of development and realization of technological innovations are formulated. The importance of prospecting branch which scientific and technical potential has to be balanced with needs of the extracting MRC sectors is highlighted.

Abstract

In the article the reasons for active privatization in the conditions of economic instability and low assets value of public companies are investigated. Using the correlation analysis the objective regularities of state property development in advanced and developing countries are revealed, the special functions of state property are defined. The authors justify inexpediency of large-scale privatization in modern Russia and analyze the ways of improving the management of state property as alternative of its privatization.

Abstract

The author suggested the use of a systematic approach to the management of economic growth of agriculture on the basis of the tool complex. Developed the contents of instrumental management card and strategic initiatives for management of processes of economic dynamics in the stages of sustainable economic growth and new quality of growth of agricultural production. On the basis of economic and mathematical modeling determined values of indicators in the management of economic growth of agriculture.

THE MODERN SERVICE SECTOR: CLASSIFICATION AND THE ROLE IN THE ECONOMY

Abstract

The modern economy is characterized by a significant service sector role increase since the middle of ХХ century. The article examines the nature of services and its role changing at the present stage of socio-economic development. Approaches to services definition and its diverse branches classificationissues are analyzed. A new model of the economy sectoral division is proposed. Grounds for the choice of the main criterion for service sector branches classification are provided. The conclusion about the sufficient reproductive service sector role in the modern economy, which both quantitatively and qualitatively impacts on it, is drawn.
